July 1, 2017-HDSA Log Rolling Championship Fundraiser http://www.madisonlogrolling.com/mlc/
John and I fell in love with Wisconsin, a midwestern U.S. state with coastlines on 2 Great Lakes (Michigan and Superior) and an interior of forests and farms. We enjoyed the uncrowded freeway and the calm attitude of the Wisconsin people.
Shana Verstegen, HD Advocate, Fitness Expert and World Champion Lumberjack Athlete, organized the event. http://www.shanaverstegen.com/
It was so much fun watching the kids, teenagers and adults participate. John and I stayed the whole day and I sold 15 books and donated $100.00 to the event.
We tasted the famous cheese curds while we were in Wisconsin and found them just awful; they squeaked when you chewed them and tasted like rubber. (We must be missing something because so many love them).
Therese’s memoir/nonfiction book, Watching Their Dance: Three Sisters, a Genetic Disease and Marrying into a Family At Risk for Huntington’s, is available on her author website http://www.theresecrutchermarin.com & on Amazon, B&N, & in Kindle,Kobo, Nook, iBooks file. 100% of the proceeds from the book is being donated to Huntington’s organizations around the world.
We can never lose HOPE…………..Therese
